No quota

No NRI quota, and what that means for Gulf families.

Everyone applies through the same process, on the same fees.

Prof. Rajeev Kumar said in our episode that there is no quota of any kind, including no NRI quota. Everyone comes through the same process, and the fee structure is the same for every student.

For families in Dubai and the Gulf, that means no separate NRI route: you apply through the same routes as everyone else (JEE Main, SNUSAT, SAT, ACT or CUET). Because SNUSAT is online and can be taken from home, students can sit it from the UAE. If the student holds a foreign passport, an OCI or a PIO card, confirm the application category with the admissions office before applying.
