How exactly can we mentor you towards getting into Ashoka?

Ashoka reviews every application holistically, in four stages. We prepare the student for each one, in this order.

Fit and round plan

We start with a call about the student, the school board, grades and interests, then pick the right Ashoka round. For the 2027 intake, Round 1 applications close on 23 November 2026.

Ashoka official page

Application form and personal essays

Ashoka asks for academic scores from Class X to XII, non-academic engagement and personal essays. We help the student decide what to say and edit drafts until the application sounds like them.

Ashoka official page

SAT, ACT or no test

Test scores are optional at Ashoka. We help you decide whether a SAT or ACT score would add value, and prepare for it if it would.

Ashoka official page

Ashoka Aptitude Assessment

The AAA is 40 multiple-choice questions in 90 minutes on logical reasoning, quantitative reasoning and critical thinking, with no negative marking and no calculator. We practise each question type against the clock.

Ashoka official page

On-the-Spot Essay

In 30 minutes the student picks one of two prompts and writes in English, with no word limit. We practise planning and writing a clear argument under time.

Ashoka official page

Interview preparation

Shortlisted students meet a panel that wants to understand their background and story. We run mock conversations built around the student's own application.

Scholarships and aid

The need-based scholarship form opens only after a firm offer, and it does not affect the admission decision. We walk families through the process and the documents it asks for.
