Emphatically, the IELTS Speaking test is the same for both Academic and General Training tests.
Furthermore, the speaking test takes 11-14 minutes and consists of an interview with an examiner. Consequently, the interview is recorded.

The IELTS Speaking Test 9-band scale<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You will be given a score from 1 to 9 for each part of the test \u2013 Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
Markedly, the average produces your overall band score. Consequently, you can score whole (e.g., 5.0, 6.0, 7.0) or half (e.g., 5.5, 6.5, 7.5) bands in each part of the test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

occasional inaccuracies, inappropriate usage and misunderstandings
in some situations. Altogether, you handle complex language well and
understand detailed reasoning.<\/td><\/tr>
Band 6<\/td>Competent user<\/td>Generally you have an effective command of the language despite
some inaccuracies, inappropriate usage and misunderstandings. Basically,
you can use and understand fairly complex language, particularly in familiar
situations<\/td><\/tr>
Band 5<\/td>Modest user<\/td>You have a partial command of the language, and cope with overall
meaning in most situations, although you are likely to make many
mistakes. You should be able to handle basic communication in your
own field.<\/td><\/tr>
Band 4<\/td>Limited user<\/td>Your basic competence is limited to familiar situations. You
frequently show problems in understanding and expression. You are
not able to use complex language.<\/td><\/tr>
Band 3<\/td>Extremely limited
user<\/td>		You convey and understand only general meaning in very familiar
situations. There are frequent breakdowns in communication.<\/td><\/tr>
Band 2<\/td>Intermittent user<\/td>You have great difficulty understanding spoken and written English.<\/td><\/tr>
Band 1<\/td>Non-user<\/td>You have no ability to use the language except a few isolated words.<\/td><\/tr>
